What it is

The Therapy Room is a dialogue role-playing game by maymay343 that won a prize at the 4th Player2 AI NPC Jam. You play a newly qualified therapist who talks with three clients, Mika, Noah and Aria, building trust and drawing out each of their emotional stories. The game page says "three patients, powered by player2.game A.I", so the three characters' dialogue is AI-generated; the graphics are also marked as AI-assisted, and no model is named. The author says files were cut, performance was lowered and some features were dropped to fit itch.io's size limit.

Who it's for: Players who enjoy dialogue-driven, emotional story games.

Before you start: It plays in the browser and also has a download. It's a game about mental health, not real counseling, and it can't be used for diagnosis or crisis support; please don't enter your own real health details or personal information. Dialogue may be processed on Player2's servers, and the page doesn't make account or payment requirements clear. The themes may touch on difficult emotions. No public source code or license.
