What it is
The Princess and the Mech is a browser point-and-click adventure by morozig. A cyber dragon threatens the kingdom, and instead of waiting to be rescued, the princess sets out to find an ancient mech and explores an underground complex to charge it up. Left-click to walk and use things, right-click to look, and use the mouse wheel to open and close the inventory. The author says the game was made with AI, mostly with local open-weights models, plus Google AI for story and code. They list the model behind each kind of asset: Krea 2 with a self-trained LoRA for the still images, Flux Klein for image edits, and Wan 2.2 for animation. The game's only sound effect was made with the video model LTX 2.3, and the voice lines were synthesized with OmniVoice from a reference voice also generated with LTX 2.3. Music is credited to @Loyzbeats.
Who it's for: Fans of old-school point-and-click adventures who are curious what open-weights models can make.
Before you start: It runs in the browser with mouse controls. The page doesn't say whether phones work. English only. The author asks players whether it's too hard or too easy and doesn't say how long it takes to finish. itch.io lists it among its free games; check the game page for current terms. No license is given for the game.
