What it is
The Daily Ledger is a medieval shop sim made in Godot and Blender by itch.io creator Aruche. Each day you stock your stall, serve villagers and haggle over prices, with the goods on offer changing as you go. In the author's words, "Customer dialogue and reactions are guided by AI," so what customers say, how they counter and how they react to your prices is driven by AI, and no two haggles go quite the same way. The author also marks the code, images, sound and text as AI-assisted, without naming a model.
Who it's for: Fans of management sims who'd like to try bargaining with AI characters.
Before you start: There's a browser version and a Windows download (v0.1.2), and the author lists keyboard, mouse and touch support. The AI comes from a third-party platform, Player2, and you have to sign in to a Player2 account to play. Player2's privacy policy says it collects account details and what you type, may share them with service providers and analytics and advertising services, and may use them to train AI models. The author describes it as a looping prototype with no proper ending. We didn't see anything you have to pay for, but there's no guarantee the service stays free. We haven't played it.
Based on the author's itch.io page and Player2's public information. Not tested by AI Inspiration World.
