What it is
Starpit.io is an online absorb-and-grow game by rscassiel, played in the browser. You start as a brown dwarf and swallow other players and drifting debris to grow, with the goal of becoming a black hole. The screen shows your mass, level and how many bodies you've absorbed. Growing from a brown dwarf into a black hole gives the familiar big-eats-small formula an astronomy twist. The AI game catalog GamesByAI records it as made with AI, and the author listed Claude Code as the tool on the Vibe Jam 2026 entry form.
Who it's for: Anyone who likes big-eats-small online games and has an interest in astronomy.
Before you start: The catalog says it runs on desktop and mobile. You can start right away without entering a name or logging in. The page has a Hall of Fame and daily login rewards. You need to be online, and the author doesn't say how scores and rankings are stored. The author doesn't say whether it's free. The page is in English.
Based on the game page and the public listing in the AI game catalog GamesByAI. Not tested by AI Inspiration World.
