What it is
SpaceGeol is a browser space-mining game by GeoStratum, a French company; its entry card says "You are Earth's last hope, and you must go and mine resources in space." The game page opens with a scientific and legal note: the simulation mixes education and entertainment, the minerals and gravity are real, and the pirates, fights and distances are adapted for the game. GeoStratum's website describes its main work as field digitization for geologists. It's a Vibe Jam 2026 entry; the jam requires at least 90% of the code to be written by AI, and the entry card doesn't name an AI tool.
Who it's for: Players who like space settings and are curious about geology and minerals.
Before you start: It runs in the browser, can go full screen, and the entry card marks it as phone-friendly. The game area is in French; the surrounding website comes in English and other languages, and we haven't checked whether the game itself is translated. The page says progress is stored locally. The entry card spells the name SPACGEOL, while the official site uses SpaceGeol. The page gives no license for the game and doesn't say whether there are ads or payments.
