What it is
Solar Drift is a space exploration game that @chikop2p made for Vibe Jam 2026. On the jam page the author says you pilot a sleek spacecraft through a living solar system, slingshot between planets at light speed, and see every world from tiny Pluto to the blazing Sun in true-scale perspective. The home screen starts at Earth with a task: reach Earth's observation shell, then hold near the active beacon to scan. Space boosts you, and Shift starts a light-speed transit. The jam rules require at least 90% of the code to be written by AI; the jam page doesn't list which AI tools were used.
Who it's for: players who love astronomy and want to fly around the solar system, and anyone curious about how big the planets really are.
Before you start: under Vibe Jam's rules it's free to play in the browser with no sign-up. It uses the keyboard, and the page doesn't say whether it works on phones. The pages are in English. "True scale" is the author's claim; we haven't checked it. No age rating is given.
