What it is
Say What You See is a web game by artist Jack Wild, made as an Artist in Residence at the Google Arts & Culture Lab and launched in November 2023. The site describes it as a way to learn the art of image prompting with the help of Google AI. Each level shows you an image generated by Google AI. You describe it in words, the system generates a new image from your description, and if it is close enough to the original you move on. You get three attempts per image, with tips after each one on how to improve your description, and each level gets a little harder.
Who it's for: beginners who want to learn how to write prompts for AI images, and anyone who wants to practice looking closely and describing what they see.
Before you start: play it directly on the Google Arts & Culture website, with nothing to download.
