What it is
Rutabaga Riot is a flying shooter by itch.io creator vvki, built with Godot and Blender and playable in the browser. You control a little ghost with a jetpack, shooting from the air as you take on three Halloween vegetable bosses one after another. The creator says the code was iterated with Codex / ChatGPT, the art textures came from OpenAI image generation, and the source character models were made with Hunyuan3D. The witch character runs on ordinary game logic: no live AI service or API key is needed to play.
Who it's for: Action players who enjoy a holiday theme and a few boss fights.
Before you start: It runs in the browser. The current version uses keyboard controls, and the creator doesn't claim touch support on phones. You can switch between English and Simplified Chinese in the settings. The page says extra assets download the first time you reach a boss fight. Some screenshots show waves, an endless mode and two bosses at once, which doesn't match the current description of three bosses in sequence; they may come from an earlier version. Whether scores are recorded online isn't stated. It's free to play. No license is given for the game as a whole; the page lists licenses for some assets. No official age rating is given.
