What it is
RUSTBLOOM is a dark fantasy adventure by the studio CSAF, played in the browser. You build tools from 8 heads, 6 handles and 6 bindings, for 288 combinations in all, each with different stats for breaking obstacles and fighting enemies. When you fall, the parts you collected and the doors you opened stay. The game's tagline is that you never find the key, you forge it. The whole game runs on building tools to open the way. The game page lists AI use for code, graphics and text, and the studio says all its games are built by AI agents under human direction. The tools you see in the game are drawn by code as you play. The author doesn't name the AI tools used or say whether the music involved AI.
Who it's for: Adventure players who enjoy working out gear combinations and opening up a map bit by bit.
Before you start: It runs in the browser with no sign-up or download. The page has an optional tip button that doesn't affect play. The page lists keyboard controls only and doesn't say whether it works on phones. The interface is in English. The author says progress is saved in the browser. The page doesn't say whether scores are recorded online. It has a dark fantasy look and includes combat. No age rating is given.
