What it is
Ram Man: Half Goat, Half God is a 3D beat 'em up by itch.io user Azreal the fallen. It moves Greek myth onto neon-lit streets: the old gods once had a temple atop Olympus Tower, and after they left, a gang took their relic, the Golden Fleece, which the gang's King now wears. You play the sacred ram's son, out to win back your father's fleece across five districts and five bosses. You fight with fists, weapons, and whatever objects are lying around, throw wrestling moves, charge with your horns, and fill a Wrath meter to unleash an area attack. The cast is fully voiced, and after a run you can go on to Endless Night or New Game+. The author's AI disclosure on the game page lists code, graphics, sounds, and text. The credits say the characters and props were generated with Meshy, some animations come from Mesh2Motion, the voices were generated with Chatterbox-Turbo from Kokoro voices, and the sound effects and music are synthesized in the game.
Who it's for: Players who like arcade-style brawlers and have a soft spot for Greek myth.
Before you start: It runs in the browser on a computer or phone. On a computer you move with WASD, attack with J or Space, ram with K, dodge with L or Shift, grab with E, use Wrath with R, and drag the mouse to turn the camera. On phones the author recommends landscape, with a joystick on the left half and buttons on the right; we haven't tested it. The author also offers an Android install file (Android 7.0 and up), which we haven't downloaded or checked, so we only recommend the browser version. The author says the game is 100% free, with no ads, no microtransactions, and no pay-to-win, and there are optional Ko-fi and Patreon links; check the game page for current terms. The game page is in English, and we haven't checked the in-game language. The page doesn't say whether scores are uploaded. Combat includes fists, melee weapons, and throws. The two screenshots we looked at show no gore, but we can't vouch for the whole game. No license is given for the game as a whole.
