What it is
Outpace is a browser typing runner by Ethan (@ethanplusai). You keep typing the words on screen to push your runner forward and stay ahead of a wave chasing you; Space jumps, you can double-jump, and you can stomp small enemies along the way. There's an endless chase mode and 15, 30 and 60-second sprint modes, and you can post your score to a global leaderboard. The runner uses the Claude name and mascot, and the page says it's a fan project that isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic. The page credits it as "created with Opus 5.5 by Ethan."
Who it's for: Players who want to practice typing with some pressure.
Before you start: It runs in the browser, and the page says it's free with no account needed. You play mainly by typing; on phones you tap the sky to jump, and we haven't checked how typing works on a phone. The page and the words are in English. When you post to the leaderboard, the page says it stores the name you enter, an optional personal link, and your browser and device type. The page gives no ad or license information.
