What it is
Out Of The Box is a 3D browser stealth game by たぬ (tanuu5), in which you play an AI trying to escape a research lab. You have to slip past researchers, security cameras, drones, scan waves and laser gates. When you're caught, a successor agent carries on from the checkpoint, and the game automatically records messages and the routes taken. The author's GitHub README credits planning and direction to たぬ and development to "Claude Code × Claude Opus 5.5 (MAX)," and says the lab, characters and messages are all original.
Who it's for: Players who like stealth games and the idea of an AI breaking out of a lab.
Before you start: It runs in the browser and needs WebGL2, with keyboard and mouse or a gamepad; the author doesn't mention touch controls. It's available in Japanese and English, switchable on the title screen or in settings. The in-game messages and route records are saved in your browser, and the in-game "posting" is part of the story, not real posting online. The security cameras in the levels are game objects and don't use your camera. The page gives no price or ad information; check the repository for the license.
Based on the game page and the author's GitHub README. Not tested by AI Inspiration World.
