What it is
OTTERBOUND is a strategy game by the studio CSAF (Core Systems Asset Factory), played in the browser. You drag six otters into place on a raft, and neighbors boost each other. Along the way you set the raft's speed and decide whether to spend fish on food, upgrades or gear. The run covers three stretches of river, each with a boss. What stands out is that fish are both your money and your health, so every purchase puts you at more risk. The author says the code, the skyline paintings in the game and the store page art are AI-generated, and the written text is AI-authored. The moving visuals are drawn by code, and the sound and melodies are synthesized by code. The author doesn't name the AI tools used.
Who it's for: Strategy players who like arranging formations and making every resource count.
Before you start: It runs in the browser with no sign-up or download. The author says nothing in the game is for sale and there are no ads. The author says version 1.2 supports touch and works on phones in both portrait and landscape. The interface is in English. Progress saves automatically in the browser at each river bend. The page doesn't say whether scores are recorded online. No age rating is given.
