Nine Laps

What it is

Nine Laps is a browser racing game by itch.io creator Purrfect Games Studio. You steer a cat riding a robot vacuum around five household maps, dodging toys along the way, and you can dress your cat up however you like. There's a local mode and online rooms with room codes for up to six players, and you can turn your custom cat into a code to share. The page's AI disclosure lists code, graphics, sounds and text; the creator doesn't say which AI tools were used.

Who it's for: Players who like cute art and want a light race with friends.

Before you start: Free to play in the browser. The creator says it supports touch on phones and tablets, plus keyboard and gamepad. Online races need an internet connection. The interface we saw is in English, and the full language list isn't given. No age rating or license is given.
