What it is
Night Vault is a browser puzzle game Boris Cherny shared on X, hosted on his public Claude page. You dig through a pixel-art vault and flip mechanisms to reach the treasure, with a set of fixed levels ready to play. Controls are the arrow keys plus Z and X, U to undo, H for a hint and P to pause; on a phone the page asks you to turn to landscape and shows touch arrows and a Dig button. The author says on X that the whole game came from one prompt and that Claude checked it well, with no bugs found so far; he doesn't say which model version. What sets it apart is that, by the author's account, one prompt produced a game that already has levels, undo and hints.
Who it's for: players who like brain-teasing dungeon puzzles and are curious what a single prompt can make.
Before you start: it runs in the browser with nothing to download, and the page is in English. The page says progress is saved on your device. The fixed levels are playable right away. There is also a "Dream up a Vault" option for generated levels, which we haven't opened, so we don't know whether it goes online or costs anything. The game lives on the author's Claude page and will disappear if he removes it. The page gives no reuse license and no official age rating.
