What it is
Midnight Apex is a 3D browser racing game by Slava Volkov set on rain-soaked, neon-lit city streets at night. You race three laps against four computer-controlled drivers using a keyboard or gamepad. The author says on X that it came from one prompt to Claude Opus 5.5. The code repository adds that the game is built with three.js and Vite, and that it was made in one Claude Code session that coordinated 13 sub-agents. The official three.js account (@threejs) recommended the game in a post on X. The rival drivers are controlled by the game's own code, not by an AI model driving in real time. What sets it apart is that a single prompt produced a complete night street-racing scene.
Who it's for: Players who like street racing and night-time city atmosphere.
Before you start: It runs on the Genex game platform in a browser with no sign-in needed; signing in only saves your progress, and the author recommends a desktop browser. The interface is in English, and pressing M before you start mutes the sound. The code repository has no licence.
Based on the game page, the project's public documentation, the author's posts on X and the official three.js account's post. Not tested by AI Inspiration World.
