What it is
Lost Cathedral is a third-person boss-fight browser game by Simeon, set in a ruined Gothic cathedral with a rose window and pointed arches. You play the Thorn Exile against the scythe-wielding Armored Death: WASD to move, J or the mouse for a light attack, hold J or press K for a heavy attack, L to block, Space to roll, R to heal and Q to lock on. The author says in the code repository that the game is built with Three.js and Vite and that every asset was generated with Genex Tools; whether AI also wrote the code isn't stated. The official three.js account (@threejs) recommended the game in a post on X. What sets it apart is that it puts a full boss fight in the browser, with the setting and assets all generated.
Who it's for: Players who like action games and tough boss fights.
Before you start: It runs on the Genex game platform in a browser with no sign-in needed; signing in only saves your progress. The author says it supports keyboard and mouse on desktop and touch on phones and tablets, and needs a browser with WebGL2. The interface is in English. The page drops you straight into the fight with sound on, so pause and set music and effects to 0 in the settings. It's armed combat; the footage we saw had no gore or dismemberment. The code is published under a source-available licence: you may read and run it yourself, but not redistribute it, host it commercially or reuse the assets without permission. It is not an open-source licence.
Based on the game page, the project's public documentation and the official three.js account's post. Not tested by AI Inspiration World.
