What it is
Horizon Charge is a 3D racing game by itch.io studio Small Loop Works, listed here together with its sequel, Horizon Charge II: Sunward. In the first game you skim a planet's surface in a craft that makes more power the faster it goes, while every turn bleeds momentum, and the aim is to get as far as you can. Sunward adds a six-zone solo campaign, Endurance and Infinite modes, and local split-screen for two gamepads. Both pages' AI disclosures list AI assistance for code, graphics, sounds and text, and the specific tools aren't named.
Who it's for: Players who like high-speed dodging and chasing a longer best distance run after run.
Before you start: Both games are free and play in the browser, with Windows, macOS and Linux builds too. The pages say they support keyboard and mouse, gamepad and touch, and Sunward also offers calibrated tilt controls; we haven't tried them on a phone. The interfaces we saw are in English; Sunward's page lists English, and the first game's full language list isn't given. Your best distance is saved; whether anything goes online isn't stated. Sunward's two-player mode is local split-screen, not online play. The age rating, release date and license for the whole games aren't stated.
