What it is
Home, in Other Words is a browser puzzle game by itch.io creator Johnnysuzuki1234, set across three scenes. You show objects to a stranger, compare the unfamiliar symbols in their replies with another traveler's actions, and gradually work out their language to help them get home. There's no time limit, you can review clues at any time, and optional hints are available. The creator says the game was made with ChatGPT, which helped with concept discussion, writing and revising code, text and debugging; the cover is a generated image, and the creator directed and tested the game. No AI runs during play.
Who it's for: Players who like quiet deduction puzzles solved through observation.
Before you start: Free in the browser. The creator says it was tested on PC and phone and works with clicks or touch, as well as Tab and Enter. The game is in English and Japanese. The page doesn't say whether scores go online or how progress is saved. Only a cover image is shown, so in-game visuals aren't described. No age rating or license for the whole game is given.
Based on the game page's public information. Not tested by AI Inspiration World.
