What it is
Hold the Gate is a gate-defense game by itch.io creator aimerscoding that runs in the browser. You ride around town collecting coins, spend them on arrow towers and town hall upgrades, and hold back the waves of enemies pouring in through the gate. The creator says Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) wrote all the game code, the 3D models and sound effects are generated in code with Three.js, Claude chat was used for planning, and the cover was made with Gemini.
Who it's for: Players who want a relaxed round of gate defense on their phone.
Before you start: Free to play in the browser. The page says it's built mobile-first with portrait drag controls; we haven't tried it on a phone. The interface we saw is in English, and the full language list isn't given. The age rating, release date, whether scores go online and the license for the whole game aren't stated.
