What it is
HexMine is a minesweeper game on Kevin MacLeod's Danger Academy site, played in the browser. The board is made of hexagons: tap to reveal a cell, long-press to plant a flag, and pick your own board size and difficulty. With six neighbours around every cell, the logic works differently from square minesweeper. The AI game catalog GamesByAI lists it as made with AI; the author hasn't said which tools were used.
Who it's for: Anyone who has played minesweeper and wants to try a new board.
Before you start: It's free with no login. The author says Danger Academy games can be opened in Safari on a phone or tablet and added to the home screen. The site says it supports several languages, including Chinese.
