What it is
Hell Chess is a turn-based strategy game by korajos, played in the browser. On a hex board you command a summoner: call up armies, change the terrain and curse your enemies, using a hand of cards before passing the turn. You can play against the computer or against opponents online. The units are fantasy figures such as skeletons. Because positions on the board and the cards in your hand both matter, every move takes some thought. The AI game catalog GamesByAI records it as made with AI, and the author listed Claude Code as the tool on the Vibe Jam 2026 entry form.
Who it's for: Anyone who likes board and card strategy and enjoys thinking through each move.
Before you start: The catalog says it runs on desktop and mobile. You get a guest identity automatically when you open it, so there's nothing to sign up for. Online matches need a connection, and the author doesn't say how match data is stored. There's cartoon-style fighting. The author doesn't say whether it's free. The page is in English.
Based on the game page and the public listing in the AI game catalog GamesByAI. Not tested by AI Inspiration World.
