What it is

Headless is a browser action game by itch.io user M Dawg (mdawg74). You play a headless knight throwing pumpkin heads at your opponent, and when your own head gets knocked off you have to find it again in the fog. You can play solo against the computer, two players on one screen, or in practice mode. The author says the code and art were written with Claude, and all images, sounds and music are generated in code, so the whole game is a single HTML file that runs locally.

Before you start: Free to play in desktop and mobile browsers. Phones use twin-stick touch controls, and gamepads are supported. According to the author, the game is in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French and German. The author warns that the game has flashing lights and rapid color changes, so players sensitive to light should take care. The author describes the game as running offline, but the menu has a leaderboard button; AI Inspiration World has not checked whether scores go online or what is sent.
