What it is
GridFall is a city simulation built in Godot by GitHub user KunalSiyag. Five AI mayors plan the city and argue with each other. You can inspect residents and plots, then step in with policy changes, disasters or new construction. The characters really talk: the creator says the mayors, residents and other city characters call GMI Cloud models at runtime to produce what they say. The creator also says the code, the Blender asset pipeline and the tests were written with Factory's Droid coding agent.
Who it's for: City builders who want to watch AI characters bargain and clash.
Before you start: You download a Godot release or run it from the Godot source. The creator's page is an info and download page; it does not say the game plays in the browser. Supported operating systems and phone support are not stated. Live mode needs a GMI API key. City state and resident text are sent to GMI's servers, and model calls may use up your account balance. There is also a cached replay mode and a rule-based mode. AI Inspiration World does not recommend letting it read keys already stored on your computer: it will look for a GMI key saved in your Factory settings file and use it, so enter your own key separately instead. Whether the game itself is paid is not stated. The code is MIT licensed; third-party assets keep their own licenses. The page is in English.
