What it is
FrameFrenzy is a puzzle game by kevinloeffler, who describes himself as a software engineer from Colorado. It runs in the browser. You paste the link to a public YouTube video, and the game slices the playing video into a 3×3 or 4×4 sliding puzzle that you have to restore before the video ends. When you finish, you can turn the same video and your score into a challenge link for friends. The author says the game was built with Claude Opus 4.6 and with GitHub Copilot using GPT-5.4. AI helped write the code. The videos in the puzzle come from the YouTube links you choose and are not AI-generated.
Who it's for: Sliding-puzzle fans who want to challenge friends with videos they like.
Before you start: It's free in the browser. You need a link to a public YouTube video. Whether a video plays or can be embedded depends on YouTube's rules, and the video's copyright stays with its owner. The author lists touch, mouse and arrow-key controls; we haven't tested it on a phone. The interface is in English. Challenge links carry the video and your score. The page doesn't mention an online leaderboard. No age rating is given.
