What it is
Dustlight is an exploration game made by GamesByAI itself, played in the browser. You carry a lantern across floating islands in first person, gathering embers and clearing away dust to bring the islands back. The islands are drawn with Gaussian Splatting, so they look like clouds of glowing points. In the project notes, the author says Codex produced front and side views of the models, and Blender Python scripts written by Claude Code turned those drawings into 3D models; voices come from VoxCPM2 and sound effects are generated in code.
Who it's for: Players who like quiet exploration and want to see an unusual visual technique.
Before you start: It's free with no login; press W on the keyboard to move forward. The author doesn't say whether it works on phones. The game is in English. The code is under the MIT license, while the art, sound and voices belong to GamesByAI and are not covered by MIT.
