Concrete Cages

What it is

Concrete Cages is a browser management sim by itch.io user MaksCG. You inherit six apartments in one building and have to screen tenants, collect rent, make repairs and pay off a debt before the deadline. Your energy is limited, and working out which tenants you can trust is the heart of the game. All dialogue is hand-written by default, so the full game works without any AI service. If you want tenants' conversations generated by AI, you can paste your own API key; the author lists Gemini, Claude, DeepSeek, Kimi, OpenRouter, Groq, Mistral, Ollama and LM Studio. The game page's AI disclosure says AI assisted with the code, graphics, sound and text, without naming the tools.

Who it's for: Players who like management sims and character decisions, and enjoy trade-offs with limited resources.

Before you start: Free to play in the browser with no install; mobile support is not stated. The interface is in English, and the author also lists Ukrainian. The game autosaves every week. Adding an API key is optional. The author says the key stays in your browser and goes straight to the provider you choose, which AI Inspiration World has not verified. If you use this feature, your conversations with tenants are sent to that provider and may cost money. AI Inspiration World does not recommend entering personal information in these conversations.
