What it is
Brocade Chest is a free browser match-three game by power wisdom power. The board holds several stacks of treasure tiles, and you can only take the top tile of each stack and place it in a seven-slot tray below; three identical tiles clear. If the tray fills before you clear it, you undo and try again. Later levels add more layers and symbols, the levels are generated, and there's no final level or timer. Undo and hints are free, and a full tray can be recovered with Undo without watching an ad or paying. Gems you earn unlock six gallery themes, and the game switches between English and Simplified Chinese. The author says the code, text, procedural art and sound were made with AI assistance. What sets it apart is that you have to plan the order you take tiles in, which adds a little more thinking than a typical match-three.
Who it's for: players who like casual stack-and-match puzzles.
Before you start: it runs in the browser and works with a mouse, touchscreen or keyboard. The author says there are no ads, purchases or logins. Progress is saved only in your current browser, so clearing site data or switching devices loses it. This is an in-development prototype. The screenshots we looked at show flowers, gems and stars on the tiles; we haven't seen the symbols added in later levels.
