What it is
Brass Orrery is a browser action game by Narek (itch.io account NSarg1). You play a failing star, and your only weapons are the bodies circling you: run and they fling wide and strike heavy, stand still and they pull in close and spin fast, so you trade range for defense. Brass you gather in a run buys permanent upgrades you can refund and rearrange at any time. There are twelve worlds plus a final thirteenth, and a daily challenge that gives everyone the same waves. The game page says it was made by the author with AI assistance; the world and sky paintings were generated with Gemini 3 Pro Image, and the rest of the art and the sound are generated by the game's code. What sets it apart is that moving or standing still becomes the choice between attack and defense.
Who it's for: action players who like run-by-run progression, and anyone who wants a quick round on their phone.
Before you start: free to play in the browser, and the author says it works on desktop and phone. Move with WASD or the arrow keys and use powers with 1, 2 and 3; on touch screens, use the thumb-stick in the corner. The game sends anonymous play statistics (time survived, what ended the run, upgrades bought) to help with balancing, which you can turn off on the title screen, and your progress is saved in your browser. The page doesn't list supported languages, and we found no open-source license.
