What it is
Beyond Critical is a space shooter by getJReviews, played in the browser. It's set in 2187: a rift has opened in deep space, alien creatures keep pouring out in waves, and you hold a gun turret to drive them back. The screen shows shields, health and score, and the menu also has a leaderboard and an Alien Cast page introducing the creatures. You don't have to move around; you just keep one turret standing. The AI game catalog GamesByAI records it as made with AI, and the author listed Claude Code as the tool and claude-opus-4-6 as the model on the Vibe Jam 2026 entry form.
Who it's for: Players who like holding a position against waves and replaying for a better score.
