What it is
AI Dungeon is a text adventure game launched in 2019 by Latitude, a US company. The idea is simple: you type what your character does or says, the AI writes what happens next, and the story moves forward turn by turn. You can start from preset scenarios such as a fantasy quest or post-apocalyptic survival, play adventures shared by the community, or set up your own world and characters. Story Cards keep track of characters, places and background details, and you can also invite friends to multiplayer games, generate images during play and switch between different AI models.
Who it's for: players who enjoy tabletop RPGs, roleplay or writing stories and want a partner who can always pick up the thread.
