What it is
Aethel Fold is a browser game designed and directed by Konstantin Steinmiller. It takes place inside a paper storybook: you fold up the walls, rifts and towers on each page to change the route of marching paper soldiers. Books 1 to 3 are available, 18 pages in all, and the author says Book 4 is not built yet. Changing the terrain by folding the page is what makes it unusual. The author says the game was implemented entirely with Claude Code over several cloud sessions, with Claude Code producing the code, art, sound and text, while Gemini made the cover and page images.
Who it's for: Players who enjoy route planning, light strategy and a paper-craft look.
Before you start: Free to play in the browser with swipe controls; the page does not say whether it is built for phones. Supported languages are not stated. The page shows only the cover and promo images, so in-game visuals are not described. The page does not state an age rating or whether scores are saved online.
