What it is
Yao Open Prompts is the open-source edition of Yao Jingang's prompt collection, kept in the GitHub repository yaojingang/yao-open-prompts, with every file credited to Yao Jingang. The prompts are sorted by use, including work, study, content, daily life, marketing and coding, and each file sets out a role, steps, an output format and the variables to fill in, so you can read the full text and copy it. The README says tutorial promotions were removed when the collection was put together. What sets it apart is that the prompt text is licensed CC BY 4.0: you can share, adapt and even use it commercially as long as you credit the author, link the licence and note your changes.
Who it's for:people who work and study in Chinese and want ready-made prompt templates.
Before you start: read it on GitHub with no sign-in and nothing to install. If you reuse a prompt, follow CC BY 4.0: credit the author, link the licence and note your changes. Some examples fill in specific institutional reports and percentages for demonstration; those are placeholders, not real research data. The AI Prompts section of this site already includes 17 prompts from this collection's course marketing set.
