What it is
Tramline — Cab Ride, by Vlad Kravets, is a browser 3D experience. You sit in a tram cab while the city, pedestrians and lights outside are generated in real time, with synthesized ambient sound.
You can let the tram drive itself or stop and look around. In the GitHub description, the author says it was built with Claude Opus 5.5.
Who it's for:people who like trams and city wandering, or want to see how far procedural scenes can go.
Before you start: you start a local server with Python 3.8 or later, then open it in desktop Chrome, Edge or Firefox with WebGL2, ideally with a dedicated GPU. The author tuned it for desktop graphics cards; phone support isn't stated. Pricing isn't stated. One asset-building step for developers pipes a Docker install script from curl straight into the shell; you don't need it just to watch. The code is MIT licensed, and third-party libraries keep their own licenses. Text and controls are in English.
