What it is
Teal is a browser job-search workspace from Teal Labs, Inc. You can write resumes and cover letters with AI-generated bullet points and summaries, and log every application you send on a tracking board. Its Autofill reads your profile to fill in application forms, and you review, edit and submit them yourself. What sets it apart is keeping resumes, applications and contacts in one place: the Contacts Tracker records your relationship with each contact and suggests when to follow up, but it doesn't send messages for you. There's also mock interview practice before the real thing.
Who it's for:Job seekers sending lots of applications who need one place to manage resume versions and application progress.
Before you start: It runs in the browser, and the pages are in English. When you use AI features, your resume, job descriptions and similar content are sent to a third-party AI service, with OpenAI given as the example, and data may be processed and stored in the US. The terms say your resumes and cover letters aren't used to train general models offered to other customers, though de-identified aggregate usage data may be used to improve the AI. You can export your data or delete your account, and the policy says deletion or anonymization takes up to about 30 days. The terms also warn that AI output may be inaccurate and that you should check it; the site makes no promise not to invent details. The free plan includes unlimited resumes and application tracking, 10 templates, and limited AI use and mock interviews, with no card required. The help center lists Teal+ at USD 13 a week, USD 29 a month or USD 79 a quarter, renewing automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date; check the site for current prices.
