What it is
Speedtest is a browser speed test by developer Sukka, with Made by Sukka in the footer. Press Start test and it measures latency, jitter, download and upload speed, and how much data the test moved. You can pick a test region under Global and switch the connection mode. Sukka said on X that the site was written with Opus 5.5; the speed test itself doesn't use AI. What sets it apart is that the page shows your IP, rough location and network provider as soon as it opens, so you know which network you're on before you test.
Who it's for:Anyone who wants a quick speed check and a look at their current network.
Before you start: It runs in the browser, the interface is in English, no sign-in is needed, and the page shows no payment options. A test really does upload and download data, so it uses up mobile data. The page shows your IP address and rough location, so cover them before sharing a screenshot. The speed test page has no privacy policy of its own. The privacy policy on the author's personal site mentions services such as Cloudflare, Sentry and Google Analytics; we haven't checked which ones this page actually uses. The page says All rights reserved and has no open-source licence.
