What it is

SkinLab is a web simulation on dermatologist Magnus Lynch's official site. Using WebGL and three.js, it shows the structure of skin and what happens when it is cut, heals into a scar or is treated with a laser.

You pick a tool on the 3D model and watch the skin respond step by step. On Hacker News the author said it was built with Claude Code over five days as a single static page with no back end. The author is also clear that the results haven't been validated against real patient outcomes.

Who it's for:students and teachers of dermatology or biophysics, and anyone curious about how skin heals.

Before you start: open the page in a browser with WebGL. Phone support and pricing aren't stated. It is for teaching and research only and can't be used to judge anyone's skin condition. Terms for using or republishing the simulation aren't stated. The interface is in English.

Based on the project page and the author's post on Hacker News. Not tested by AI Inspiration World.
