What it is
Refly is a platform from Powerformer, Inc. The README calls it "the first open-source platform for building stable, atomic, and versioned agent skills." You combine steps into a visual workflow on a canvas and turn them into agent skills you can call. Workflows can call APIs and webhooks, run on a schedule, publish skills or connect to Feishu. The community edition can be self-hosted with Docker, and the docs come in English and Chinese. What sets it apart is that it manages each skill as a small versioned unit.
Who it's for:Teams and developers who want to turn routine processes into reusable AI skills. Readers who don't write code won't get much use from it.
Before you start: Self-hosting the community edition needs a database plus object and vector storage, and the self-hosted version has its own email-and-password accounts. Your input goes to the models and integrations you configure, so protect the data stores when you self-host. The license is Refly's own terms, which differ from a standard Apache license. Personal use, including personal commercial use, is free. Companies, organisations and institutions using it commercially need a separate commercial license and may not remove the front-end branding. Models and hosting may cost extra.
