What it is
Moli is built by the Lexmount team, and the README calls it "a production-ready headless browser for AI agents." A headless browser has no window and is meant for programs, so an AI agent can use it to open pages, run page scripts, click buttons and read content. Moli is written in Rust and can be controlled through a CLI, the Chrome DevTools Protocol (CDP) and WebDriver; the main commands are moli fetch to grab a page and moli serve to start a server. It runs on Linux, macOS and Windows, and the documentation is in Chinese, English, Japanese, German, French, Spanish and Korean.
Who it's for:developers giving AI agents the ability to work with web pages. Not useful if you don't write code.
Before you start: the official installer downloads a script with curl and pipes it to sh, and on Windows it uses irm with iex and bypasses the execution policy; we don't recommend either route. No account is needed, and Lexmount Browser is a separate hosted product. Moli can read the cookies and storage of its own session, and the --cookie-file and --profile-dir options can load an existing sign-in state.
