What it is
Vibe is a product from Mistral AI, a French AI company. The site explains that Le Chat is now Vibe, and existing conversations, settings and plans carry over. It combines two things in one product. For work, it can take you from thinking to drafting to finished output in a single conversation, such as briefings built from email and calendar data, data analysis, documents and workflow automation. For code, it writes, tests and deploys across a codebase and helps with migrations. It can also build AI agents that route and complete work across company systems. Vibe is available on the web and as iOS and Android apps, and for coding you can install the CLI in a terminal or use it in VS Code, JetBrains or Zed.
