What it is
15 Motion Design Styles is a set of motion design films from the GitHub user Vincentwei1021: fifteen styles, one 10-second film each, ranging from frame-by-frame cel animation, isometric 2.5D and flat vector to 80s synthwave, pixel art and a 9:16 variety-show caption edit. The README says Claude Opus 5.5 made every film by writing code from a prompt, the picture, animation, music and sound effects alike, with no image or video generation: the picture is SVG, Canvas, WebGL and Three.js (with Blender for the 3D film), and the soundtracks are synthesized by Python scripts. Open the showcase page to watch all fifteen with sound, each beside its style notes, with one click to open the full prompt and the source. To make your own, give a prompt to an AI assistant that can write code and run commands, and swap in your own story, brand name and colors.
Who it's for:motion designers and video creators looking for style ideas and ready-made prompts, and anyone curious what AI can draw just by writing code.
Before you start: the showcase page opens in a browser with no install or sign-in, and it switches between English and Chinese. To remake a film yourself you'll need Node.js 22.12+, Chrome, ffmpeg and Python 3.11+, plus Blender for the 3D film; the font files aren't in the repository and have to be set up separately. The author notes that the same prompt makes a different film every time, and the originals went through several rounds of revision, so one run usually won't reach the same finish. The code, prompts, docs and the fifteen films are under the MIT License; third-party samples, photos and textures keep their own licenses, and the author advises using only assets licensed for commercial use in your own films.
