What it is
This prompt template library comes from Maastricht University Library and its EDLAB team in the Netherlands, for teachers and students. It currently lists 16 templates, including multiple-choice and open-ended questions, feedback from notes, step-by-step text improvement, summaries, translation and literature searches. Each template explains how to fill in its variables and gives prompting tips; the rewriting templates ask you a few questions first and then suggest changes, so the writer stays in charge. The site says it doesn't favour any particular AI tool, so you can paste the templates into the model you usually use. Pick the template for your task and replace the bracketed parts with your own material.
Who it's for:Teachers who want AI help with lesson prep, test questions and feedback, and students who want AI to help revise their writing while keeping control of it.
Before you start: Reading and copying are free, with no sign-up. The templates are in English. The site asks you not to paste university data, confidential, personal or sensitive information, or copyrighted teaching material into AI, and to check your school's or faculty's rules on AI first. Anything you paste in is handled under the terms of the AI service you use. The library is under CC BY-SA 4.0: you can share, adapt and use it commercially with credit, a licence link and a note of changes, and adaptations must use the same licence.
