What it is

Lock Jelly is a 3D browser piece by the X user Vib3Coded, labeled Material Studies No. 011 and subtitled A countryside in miniature. It shows a small canal lock in the countryside, with a boat, lock gates, a windmill, houses and water birds. The page's how-to-play note is three lines long: throw bread, toot the horn, hurry the keeper. Those map to the Throw bread, Toot and Hurry buttons, alongside a Rubber duck and three counters for Trips, Lockfuls and Fed. The water comes in three colors, Greengage, Elderflower and Blackcurrant, and you can adjust its Firmness, Wave damping and the Paddle speed of the lock's sluices; dragging the water makes ripples, dragging the block tips it, and dragging empty space turns the view. On X, the author says he had Opus 5.5 and ChatGPT-6 Astra each build a version and posted both links in a reply. The standalone page linked here is the ChatGPT-6 Astra version; the Opus 5.5 version is a Claude artifact with the same named buttons and water colors. What sets it apart is that everything you do is small and slow, feeding birds, tooting, watching the water wobble, or as the page puts it, A little time, beautifully wasted.

Who it's for:anyone who likes miniatures and slow little toys and wants a few quiet minutes in the browser, and anyone curious how two AI models handle the same piece.

Before you start: open it in a browser with no install, sign-in or payment. The page says it needs a browser with WebGPU and suggests a recent Chrome, Edge or Safari with hardware acceleration on. It doesn't say whether phones are supported, and we haven't tried one. The interface is in English, the page shows no author credit, and we found no source code, asset license or privacy notice for the work. The Claude artifact page for the Opus 5.5 version is marked user-generated and unverified at the top, and the link stops working if the author deletes it. We haven't checked what each button does, such as Throw bread or Rubber duck, or how the water physics behave.
