What it is
God's Eye View is built by Bilawal Sidhu and co-maintained with Sameh Khamis of Halfpixel; the project used to be called WorldView. It is a 3D globe client that layers public data onto the Earth: live flights, ship positions, satellite orbits, public camera feeds, and environmental and infrastructure data. When you open it you see a few starting tiles, Live Contacts, Space Missions, Environmental, or Explore manually, and nothing loads until you click one. The README says you can run it hands-free with a realtime AI voice agent, switching views and layers by speaking. It runs on Windows, macOS and Linux, and the interface is in English.
Who it's for:people who enjoy maps and data visualization and want a visual way to explore public data about the sky and the sea. We don't recommend using it to track or locate other people.
Before you start: you need Node.js and run npm ci and npm run dev from the source, or use Pinokio 8.2 or newer, or Docker; there is no hosted demo yet. The basic features need no key, and voice control needs an OpenAI or Gemini key. Map tiles come from Esri, OpenStreetMap and Google, and voice control sends a screenshot of the current view to the AI service. On macOS the launch script can read API keys from Keychain, and an experimental OAuth sign-in reads the local auth.json file. The code is MIT licensed, while some of the data is CC BY-NC-SA 3.0 or CC BY-NC 4.0 and can't be used commercially. Based on the project's public documentation. Not tested by AI Inspiration World.
