Final Round AI

Final Round AI is an AI interview tool from Pump Labs Inc. (doing business as Final Round AI), with two parts. Before an interview, you can set job goals, prepare materials and do mock practice. During a live interview, its CoPilot feature listens to the interviewer's questions, reads questions on your screen and shows suggested answers in real time in a small window only you can see. It also has a Stealth Mode, on by default, that tries to keep that window out of screen sharing and recordings. Real-time assistance is its main feature, and the website presents it that way.

Who it's for:Job seekers who want more practice before interviews and who, knowing the risks of live assistance, still choose to use it.

Before you start: It's a desktop app for macOS 14.4 or later and Windows and works alongside Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, Webex and others; the site says it supports 143 languages and accents in more than 80 countries. The free plan covers setting goals, preparing materials and parsing job descriptions; live features need the paid Pro plan, which the site lists from USD 25 a month, with no free trial and automatic renewal until you cancel; check the site for current prices. It collects your resume, cover letters, transcripts of real interviews, voice samples, screenshots and the AI's suggestions. The privacy policy lets the company select customer data to develop, train and evaluate its own models, including resumes and interview transcripts; you can request deletion, but training that has already happened can't be guaranteed to be undone. A warning: many employers don't allow candidates to use live AI assistance in interviews, and being found out can cost you the interview or the offer, so check the employer's rules first. Answers generated in real time may also go beyond your actual experience, so judge them before you say them.
