What it is
BeefTV is an open-source desktop tool by GitHub user glanderness for making AI video and images. It gives you a node canvas where you connect scripts, reference images, assets and different models, plan your shots and then batch-generate. In the author's words, it lets an agent truly take part in and lead your AIGC workflow. It can connect to several model services using your own keys. What sets it apart is that the whole creative pipeline is laid out on one canvas, and the Chinese documentation is fairly thorough.
Who it's for:Chinese-speaking creators making AI short films who need to manage lots of shots and assets.
Before you start: there are installers for Windows, macOS and Linux, or you can build from source. It reads and writes your projects, audio, video and model settings; when you use online model services, your assets are uploaded to them and may cost money. The author's Mac instructions note the app isn't notarized by Apple and must be allowed manually; we don't suggest bypassing system protections. The code is MIT-licensed; rights to generated assets and models depend on each provider's terms.
