AI Job Application Assistant, by Ishan Rajan, is a local job-search tool. It parses your resume, scores roles for fit, searches for jobs, writes cover letters and tracks every application in SQLite.
When you want, it fills in Workday applications in a browser you can watch. The author states it never submits; job search only finds and ranks openings, and you handle login, final submission and captchas yourself. The project notes say it was built with Cursor and Claude.
Who it's for:job seekers sending many applications who want resumes and records in one place, and are comfortable with a command line.
Before you start: it needs Python 3.11 or later and an Anthropic API key, with usage billed. Form-filling also needs Playwright's Chromium. Commands such as resume parsing send your resume and job materials to the Claude API. The code is MIT licensed. The interface is in English.
