Agent Standup is an open-source tool by GitHub user Atoll92; the README says it's an unofficial community project, not affiliated with Anthropic, OpenAI or Mistral. It reads the session files that Claude Code, Codex, Mistral Vibe and Cowork already write on your computer and draws each coding agent as a character in a call: the lead hands out work, sub-agents join, work at their desks, share their screens and report back, and the shared screen shows the real command output and diffs. A board alongside shows how many tokens each agent used, which command has been running for over a minute and which agent has gone quiet for three. You can replay past sessions or export them as videos with voices and subtitles; the voices come from a small speech model installed on your machine, which downloads the first time. What sets it apart is that it costs no extra tokens: apart from the cases below, it only reads local files and never calls Claude. It installs as a VS Code extension (Cursor and Windsurf use Open VSX), runs from the terminal with npx, or comes as a macOS desktop app.
Who it's for:developers who run several coding agents at once and want to see what they're doing. Readers who don't write code won't have a use for it.
Before you start: it reads your full agent session logs, including your prompts, command output and file contents, which may hold sensitive information. With the interface in English or Chinese it sends nothing anywhere by default. With the interface in French, Spanish or Brazilian Portuguese it translates the call through your own Claude login, the optional jokes also call Claude, and the web radio and usage counter are off unless you turn them on. Exported videos show code and file names by default, so turn on "Hide code & file names" before sharing. The macOS app isn't signed with an Apple developer ID. The core is free under the MIT licence; an optional Halloween character pack is paid, so check the author's page for the price.
